Peter Poon is a Canadian lawyer and licensed Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC R1040879), authorized to represent clients in Canadian immigration matters. He is also accredited to appear before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB – Level 3). With several years of professional immigration practice, Peter provides strategic, compliant, and client-focused immigration services to individuals and families worldwide.
Peter understands that immigration is more than a legal process, it is a life-changing decision that often involves uncertainty, pressure, and high expectations. As both a lawyer and RCIC, Peter brings a strong legal perspective to immigration applications, particularly in complex or high-risk cases. His practice includes temporary residence applications such as work permits, study permits, and visitor visas, as well as permanent residence pathways including Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs, and family sponsorship. He also has experience handling refused applications, procedural fairness letters, inadmissibility issues, humanitarian and compassionate considerations, authorization to return to Canada, citizenship matters, and cases involving appeal or judicial review considerations.
